This is a ribbon that was worn by a society in Westville in the early 1900's
- Polish I  believe, but not too sure of the nationality.

There were a few
of these clubs long ago with different names.

Original NAPA - Quick Pool's Building - Now Gone

PN Hirsch - Big Boys Toys - Now Gone

Southwest Corner of the Square  - Now Vacant

More demolition of SW corner of square

Buildings you are seeing are Julee’s Shooting Star (on the right) and the original Post Office (now a vacant tavern, on the left of Julee’s) on W. Main St.  All of the before-pictured buildings were removed.  The lot has been leveled and grass seed is planted awaiting construction of a new CVS Pharmacy, due in 2008.

2006

The Westville facility was purchased by First National Bank of Danville.

Became First Financial Bank in July 2009

Stan Povilaitis retired as Chief of the Westville Fire Protection District in 2006 after 35 years of service!
